    DARTMOUTH, Mass. --  Junior Nicole Silverman (Chelmsford, Mass.) notched a double-double effort of 14 kills and 18 digs to lead UMass Dartmouth to a 3-1 non-league college volleyball victory over Emmanuel Thursday evening at the Tripp Athletic Center.
  • SALEM STATE TOPS WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL, 3-0

    SALEM, Mass. – Haley Reed's (Goffstown, N.H.) seven service ace performance helped the Salem State Vikings shut out the Emmanuel Saints 3-0 on Tuesday evening at Twohig Gymnasium. The Vikings won all three sets, 25-16, 25-18 and 25-12. Salem State rises to 13-8 on the year while the Saints fall to 7-13 on the season and have now dropped eight straight.

    NEWTON, Mass. – Senior Olivia Addington (Orange, Calif.) and freshman Kiana Perez (Juncos, P.R.) combined for 30 kills and 45 digs Saturday afternoon as Lasell College defeated Emmanuel College, 3-1, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women’s volleyball match at the Lasell Athletic Center.

    Junior outside hitter Taylor Dunster (Sutton, Mass.) led the Rivier University women’s volleyball team on their way to a three set sweep of the Saints, (25-21, 25-16, 25-14), to remain undefeated in GNAC play on Thursday evening on the Andy Yosinoff court.

    PROVIDENCE, RI – A battle of two schools undefeated in Great Northeast Athletic Conference play went the way of the Johnson & Wales University women’s volleyball team. The fourth-ranked Wildcats defeated Emmanuel, 3-0 (25-20, 25-11, 25-13), on Wednesday.
  • SAINTS SWEEP THE DAY AGAINST SJM & HUSSON

    STANDISH, Maine – Saint Joseph's College (4-10, 2-3 GNAC) split a tri-match with Emmanuel College (7-5, 4-0 GNAC) and Husson University (1-11) at the Harold Alfond Center on Saturday. The Monks opened with a 3-0 (25-22, 25-15, 25-12) loss to the Saints and salvaged a split with a 3-1 (25-15, 22-25, 25-18, 25-21) triumph over the Eagles. In the middle match, Emmanuel blanked Husson with 25-15, 25-14, and 25-15 set victories.

    BOSTON, Mass. – Senior Katharine Journeay (Hampton, N.H.), freshman Daniel Halloran (Lawrence, Mass.), and freshman Hannah Fitzpatrick (Revere, Mass.) have each been recognized by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference in their respective sport’s Weekly Reports. Fitzpatrick has been named the GNAC Women’s Cross Country Rookie of the Week while Halloran earns the GNAC Men’s Golf Rookie of the Week honors. Journeay has been tabbed the GNAC Women’s Volleyball Libero of the Week, it was announced by the conference office earlier today.

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Emmanuel College women's volleyball team opened its 2018 GNAC slate with a pair of wins Saturday morning, besting Albertus Magnus College 3-1 before topping Norwich University, 3-0. The Saints improve to 2-1 overall and open GNAC play with a 2-0 mark.

    QUINCY, Mass.- The Emmanuel College women's volleyball team fell to Eastern Nazarene College, 3-1, in their season-opener on Wednesday evening at the Lahue Physical Education Center. The match was the Lion's in first home match of the season and the Saints season-opener.
