  • SAEF NAMED GNAC ROOKIE OF THE YEAR; EARNS ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS WITH RICE

    BOSTON, Mass. - Emmanuel College sophomore Emily Saef (Moultonborough, N.H.) has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Wen's Lacrosse Rookie of the Year and joins junior Kylie Rice (Bethlehem, Conn.) on the GNAC All-Conference Team, it was announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon. Junior Allison Hutchings (Billerica, Mass.) was the Emmanuel representative on the GNAC All-Sportsmanship team.

    BOSTON, Mass. - Emmanuel College freshman attack Chandra Franca (Woburn, Mass.) has been names the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week for the first time in her inauguaral season as the Saints finish the post season, announced by the conference office on Monday, April 29.

    WESTON, Mass. – Regis College, the second seed in the 2019 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women’s Lacrosse Tournament, defeated seventh seed Emmanuel College, 13-5, Saturday afternoon in a tournament quarterfinal match at Regis Stadium.

    BOSTON, Mass. – Seniors Mallory Cottam (Hope, R.I.) and Elena Bragg (Belmont, Mass.) each netted four goals to lead the Simmons University women’s lacrosse team over visiting Emmanuel College (Mass.), 17-7, this afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action at Daly Field in Brighton, Mass. The Sharks win their third straight match to improve to 8-6 overall and 6-4 in league play, while the Saints fall to 6-8 and 4-6.

    NEWTON, Mass. – Senior Jordan McComb (Cumberland, R.I.) reached career highs with nine goals and 12 points Wednesday afternoon as Lasell College defeated Emmanuel College, 21-13, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women’s lacrosse contest at Grellier Field.

Moments after completing his first-ever marathon, the first of two pipe bombs exploded, and chaos ensued in the streets of Boston.
