Holbrook enters his first season as a Men's Basketball Assistant Coach.

Prior to joining the Emmanuel staff in 2018, Holbrook was an assistant coach at Northwood University for five seasons working under NCAA Hall of Fame Coach Rollie Massimino.  During that time, the Seahawks compiled an overall record of 131 wins and 36 losses. The stint included four trips to the National Tournament, a Runner-Up finish in the 2012 National Tournament, and 21 No. 1 rankings in the Top 25 National Poll. Holbrook recruited four All-Americans, two Academic All-Americans, and the 2017 valedictorian. Before joining Northwood, Holbrook served as an assistant coach at Brandeis University for two seasons, and two seasons at Lexington High School (MA) under legendary coach Bob Farias.
 
Holbrook is a 2008 graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth where he captained the basketball team, was voted the Little East Conference Most Valuable Player, and earned All-American honors from both the National Association of Basketball Coaches and D3hoops.

A 2003 graduate of Lexington High School (MA), Holbrook captained his team and was named a Middlesex League All-Star in both his junior and senior seasons.  During that time, the Minutemen won three consecutive Middlesex League titles and were one of the top teams in Division I.

In 2011, Holbrook received an MBA degree from Bentley University where he double majored in economics and financial markets, and finance.
