Emmanuel's senior outside hitter Lindsey Parker was recently named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference's (GNAC) Women's Volleyball Player of the Week. This honor came after the New Bedford native led the Saints' offense at the Mid-Coast Classic Tournament in Maine on October 3rd and 4th. Parker slammed down 56 kills in her 15 sets played at the tournament, averaging 3.73 kills per set. She hit .260 for the weekend, while also collecting 30 digs and 8 blocks. The two-time All-Conference selection notched her 1,000th kill toward the end of her junior year and as a senior, will be looking to lead her team to a 4th GNAC Championship and a return trip to the NCAA Tournament this season.
