TRULL NAMED GNAC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Emmanuel's Victoria Trull was recently honored by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), as she was selected the GNAC Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week on October 6th. This honor came after the freshman won all three of her singles matches in the preceding week. The Lowell, Mass native defeated all of her opponents in straight sets, including posting Emmanuel's only win against non-conference foe, Colby-Sawyer College. Trull cruised to a 6-3, 6-2 win over her Emerson College opponent, a 6-1, 6-0 win over her Newbury College opponent, and a 6-4, 6-4 win over her Colby-Sawyer College opponent. Trull has helped her team to a 5-4 mark thus far this season. Individually, she is undefeated at 6-0, with four wins coming in sixth singles, while also recording one win in fifth and one in first singles this year.
