2011 SEASON IN REVIEW

The 2011 Emmanuel Tennis Team wrapped up the season by making the program's 9th-straight appearance in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament.

WOMEN'S TENNIS SWEEPS MOUNT IDA IN GNAC QUARTERFINAL MATCH

The 3rd-seeded Emmanuel College Tennis Team defeated 6th-seeded Mount Ida College, 9-0, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Quarterfinal match played at the Winsor School on Thursday night.

TENNIS TEAM ROLLS TO 7-2 WIN OVER BLUE JAYS

The Emmanuel College Women's Tennis Team handed Saint Joseph College a 7-2 loss on Monday afternoon.

AS A JUNIOR...Trull went 1-1 in singles action and 1-0 in doubles play during the 2010 season...helped the Saints to an 8-6 overall record, a 5-3 GNAC mark, and the program's 8th-straight trip to the GNAC Tournament...was named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team...represented the Women's Tennis Team on Emmanuel's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee...will co-captain the Emmanuel Women's Tennis Team in 2011 as a senior.

AS A SOPHOMORE...Trull notched a 1-2 overall record playing No. 5 and No. 6 singles for the Saints...went undefeated in conference play...named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team...helped Emmanuel to a GNAC semifinal appearance in 2009.

AS A FRESHMAN...Trull started at 6th singles for the Saints...posted a 9-1 overall record, also winning matches at both first and fifth singles...selected the GNAC Rookie of the Week on 10/6/08...named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll on 9/29/08...helped lead Emmanuel to a GNAC Quarterfinal appearance in 2008.

BEFORE EMMANUEL...Trull was a 4-year starter at Lowell High School (Lowell, Mass.)...played 2nd doubles as a freshman, 1st doubles as a sophomore, 3rd singles as a junior, and 1st singles as a senior...named the team captain for her senior year...Lowell Sun Star of the Week...received Sportsmanship Award as a freshman...named Most Improved Player after her sophomore and junior years.
