Emmanuel freshman Alex Hadlock (Framingham, Mass.) was named 1st Team All-GNAC, while juniors Taylor Dey (Woodbridge, Conn.) and Jenna Reid (Lincoln, R.I.) received 2nd Team All-Conference honors.

The 3rd-seeded Emmanuel College Tennis Team defeated 6th-seeded Mount Ida College, 9-0, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Quarterfinal match played at the Winsor School on Thursday night.

The Emmanuel Women's Tennis Team wrapped up the 2011 regular season with a 7-2 win over visiting Lesley University on Monday night.
AS A SOPHOMORE...Reid finished the 2010 season with an impressive record of 7-4 from her No. 3 singles slot...went 4-2 versus GNAC competitors...teamed up with four different partners during the season to combine for a 5-4 double record...voted GNAC 2nd Team All-Conference for the second-straight season... helped lead the Saints to an 8-6 overall record, a 5-3 GNAC mark, and the program's 8th-straight GNAC Tournament appearance...will carry a four-match win streak into her junior season...currently holds an impressive collegiate career singles record of 17-8.
AS A FRESHMAN...Reid went 10-4 on the season, playing the majority of her matches at No. 4 singles...boasted an undefeated mark (2-0) at 2nd and 3rd singles...played the season undefeated in doubles action...selected the GNAC Rookie of the Week on 10/26/09...named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll twice during the season (9/21/09, 9/28/09)...voted a 2nd Team All-GNAC selection...received the team's Unsung Hero award...helped lead the Saints to a GNAC semifinal appearance.
BEFORE EMMANUEL...Reid was a 4-year starter for the Lincoln High School Division I Lions (Lincoln, R.I.)...stayed steady at No. 3 doubles as a freshman and sophomore...advanced to 1st doubles for her junior year and received 1St team all division honors...made her debut on the singles ladder playing 3rd singles as a senior and received 2nd team all division honors.
