         <description><![CDATA[The Emmanuel Women's Tennis Team posted another fine season, which took the Saints into the semifinal round of the 2009 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament. After winning ten of the program's 14 matches during the regular season, the Saints upset Johnson & Wales University in the opening round of the post-season tournament. Emmanuel then suffered a tough loss to top-ranked Simmons College in the GNAC semifinals. The young squad, which will graduate just one player in May, wrapped up the season with an overall record of 11-5 and a 5-3 mark in conference play.]]></description>
