THREE SAINTS VOTED TO TENNIS ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

Three members of the Emmanuel College Women's Tennis Team received All-Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) recognition after leading the Saints to a 13-3 record and a GNAC Tournament Semifinal appearance this year. Emmanuel freshman Alex Hadlock (Framingham, Mass.) was named 1st Team All-GNAC, while juniors Taylor Dey (Woodbridge, Conn.) and Jenna Reid (Lincoln, R.I.) received 2nd Team All-Conference honors. read more

EMERSON DEFEATS EMMANUEL, 5-4, IN SEMIFINAL HEARTBREAKER

The third-seeded Emmanuel College Saints were defeated by second-seeded Emerson College on Saturday night in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) tournament semifinals. The 5-4 nail-biter was hosted by the Lions and a packed gallery overlooked the indoor courts at the Sportsmen's Tennis Club in Dorchester. This was Emmanuel's second consecutive year in which the Saints were eliminated by a 5-4 loss in GNAC tournament play. read more

WOMEN'S TENNIS SWEEPS MOUNT IDA IN GNAC QUARTERFINAL MATCH

The 3rd-seeded Emmanuel College Tennis Team defeated 6th-seeded Mount Ida College, 9-0, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Quarterfinal match played at the Winsor School on Thursday night. The Saints, who were making their 9th-straight appearance in the GNAC Tournament, posted six singles wins and three doubles victories on the way to the 9-0 sweep. With the win, Emmanuel will now advance to take on second-seeded Emerson College in the GNAC semifinals on Saturday night. read more
