COPP, GUSELLI NAMED TO GNAC WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

Two sophomores from Emmanuel College were named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Softball Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on March 20th. Starting third-baseman Chelsey Guselli and pitcher Kathryn Copp were the Saints receiving the weekly recognition.

Two sophomores from Emmanuel College were named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Softball Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on March 20th. Starting third-baseman Chelsey Guselli and pitcher Kathryn Copp were the Saints receiving the weekly recognition. The duo helped lead Emmanuel to a 2-1 week with a 9-5 win at Wentworth and an 8-3 GNAC victory over Johnson & Wales.

Guselli, a native of Methuen, Massachusetts, hit .500 for the week, with 5 hits in 10 at-bats. She also ripped two doubles in the Saints' first conference win on March 20th. Copp, a native of Fremont, New Hampshire, posted an incredible 0.00 earned run average over the course of the week. She recorded both of the Saints' wins and gave up only 3 hits in her two appearances.

Emmanuel now stands at 5-4 on the season. The Saints will play four GNAC contests over the weekend, including a pair of games on Friday night at Albertus Magnus College and a home double-header on Saturday afternoon versus Saint Joseph's College (Maine).
