Murray received her Bachelor of Science Degree in exercises science from Simmons and is currently enrolled in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Simmons School of Nursing and Health Studies.
As a two-sport athlete with the Sharks, Murray is very familiar with the Great Northeast Athletic Conference. During her time on the basketball team, her squad placed second on the program's all-time record for wins in a season.
On the softball field, Murray's teams had similar success, setting the program record with 35 wins in a season during her freshman year. Additionally, she helped lead the Sharks to the program's first two post-season tournament appearances in 2008 and 2011. Murray was a four-year starter, playing both center field and second base. She finished her senior season with a .289 batting average and a fielding percentage of .924.
Murray was a three-time selection to the GNAC Academic All Conference Team. In 2010, she was inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Honor Society, as well as being named a National Fastpitch Coaching Association Scholar Athlete.
Murray attended Pentucket Regional High School in West Newbury, Massachusetts, where she was a three-sport athlete. She currently resides in Groveland, Massachusetts.
