The Suffolk University Softball team swept a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) double header on Friday afternoon over the Emmanuel College Saints.

The Emmanuel College Softball Team cruised to an 11-0 shutout of Massachusetts Maritime Academy on Tuesday night, backed by a phenomenal pitching display from sophomore Julia Levins (Uxbridge, Mass.), who threw her first ever no-hitter.

The Saints took the first game by a 3-0 score, while the host Leopards took the nightcap 4-2.
AS A SOPHOMORE... Played in 29 games, getting 23 starts for the Saints ... Scored 11 runs on the year while driving intwo RBI ... Collected seven hits en route to posting a .137 batting average ... Drew six walks and registered a .241 on-base percentage ... Stole one base, coming on 4/15 in an 11/3 win over Albertus Magnus ... Posted a pair of multi-hit games on the year including a two-hit, two run performance on 3/29 vs. Wentworth.
AS A FRESHMAN...Murray started in 17 of her 21 games played in the outfield for the Saints...saw 24 at-bats with 4 hits for a .125 batting average...scored 4 runs and tallied 1 RBI...led the team in fielding percentage (1.000%) with 10 put-outs and 1 assist in 11 chances...helped the Saints to a 10-21 overall record and a 6-18 conference mark.
BEFORE EMMANUEL...Murray was a 4-year starter in centerfield for the varsity softball team at Matignon High School (Cambridge, Mass.)...captained the team her senior year...led her team to Catholic Central League Small Conference titles as a junior and a senior...was a two-time All-Star selection as a junior and a senior...led the conference in stolen bases...attended the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) conference at Gillette Stadium to receive an MIAA Sportsmanship award...also played varsity high school soccer and basketball.
