The Saints took the Wildcats into extra innings in the opener, before falling 7-6 in eight innings. JWU took game two handily, winning 7-0.

LEVINS' NO-HITTER LEADS SAINTS OVER BUCCANEERS

The Emmanuel College Softball Team cruised to an 11-0 shutout of Massachusetts Maritime Academy on Tuesday night, backed by a phenomenal pitching display from sophomore Julia Levins (Uxbridge, Mass.), who threw her first ever no-hitter.

AS A SOPHOMORE... Played in 30 games, getting 27 starts for the Saints ... Led the team in wins posting a 5-7 overall pitching record over 54.1 innings of work, striking out 41 batters while also recording six complete games ... At the plate, notched a .313 batting average to rank tied for third on the squad, capturing 25 hits to go along with 15 RBI and 10 runs scored ... Posted a .350 slugging percentage while recording a .360 on-base percentage ... Was a perfect 3-3 in stolen base attempts and tallied a .948 fielding percentage ... Registered five multi-hit outings on the year including a season-high three-hit outing on 3/8 vs. Wesley in a 19-5 win, going 3-4 at the plate with two RBI and two runs scored ... Drove in a season-best three RBI on 4/2 vs. Mount Ida ... Received the team's Most Valuable Player Award.

AS A FRESHMAN...Lloid appeared in 17 games and started in 13 of them as a pitcher for the Saints...threw 11 complete games with 1 shut-out...recorded a 4-10 record for her rookie season with a 3.64 ERA...pitched 94 innings, facing 379 batters and striking out 79 of them...saw 48 at-bats and recorded 11 hits for a .275 batting average and a .400 slugging percentage...totaled 9 RBIs...was named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll on 3/15/10 and the team's Most Valuable Player as a rookie... helped the Saints to a 10-21 overall record and a 6-18 conference mark.
