The Emmanuel College Athletic Department is pleased to announce the hiring of Hannah Angel as the College's new Head Softball Coach. Angel will take over the reigns previously held by Michelle Morales, who stepped down after four years with the program. Coach Angel is excited to begin work with the Saints, who went 12-23 this past season and held an 8-16 mark in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC). Angel will take over an experienced Emmanuel team, which returns all 15 players from the 2011 squad. read more

The Emmanuel College Softball Team wrapped up the 2011 campaign with an overall record of 12 wins and 23 losses. The Saints found themselves on the bubble for making the conference tournament after a 6-8 mark against Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) opponents. Despite a solid start to the year, splits in their final two regular season double headers left the young Saints just short of a tournament qualifying mark. read more

The Emmanuel College Softball Team wrapped the up the 2011 season with a split in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) double header at Johnson & Wales University on Tuesday afternoon. Emmanuel took a 6-2 win in the opener with JWU taking the 10-0 win in five innings in the nightcap played at Pierce Field. Emmanuel ends the season at 12-23 overall and 8-16 among GNAC opponents. read more
