The Emmanuel College Softball Team wrapped up the 2010 season with a 10-21 overall record and a 6-18 mark in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play. The Saints played their first season on the newly renovated Roberto Clemente Field, hosting 12 games on the new synthetic turf. Emmanuel posted big wins over GNAC opponents, Norwich University, Johnson & Wales University and Albertus Magnus College. The Saints ended the season with a huge 6-5 walk-off victory over GNAC rival Pine Manor College. read more

The Emmanuel College Softball Team bounced back from a 10-3 loss to Pine Manor College in Tuesday night's opening game, to capture a 6-5 win in the bottom of the 7th in the nightcap. The Saints were celebrating senior night, as the seven seniors on the Emmanuel squad were playing in their final collegiate softball games. The split brought the Saints' final 2010 record to 10-21 overall and 6-18 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play. Pine Manor finished the year at 6-25 overall and 6-16 in league play. read more

Simmons College served up a double win over Emmanuel College on the Sharks' senior day played on Clemente Field. The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) and Colleges of the Fenway (COF) rivalry ended with the Sharks sweeping the Saints, 5-0 and 6-0, on Sunday afternoon. The wins boosted Simmons to 20-9 overall and 15-7 in the GNAC. The Saints now stand at 9-20 overall 5-17 in league play. read more
