Emmanuel's Kate McKenna (Holyoke, Mass.) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the second-straight week. McKenna is currently leading the conference in points with 25 and goals with 10 so far this year. She is also second among GNAC leaders in points per game (2.50), goals per game (1.00), and assists (0.50). The senior captain's most recent honor came after she led Emmanuel to an undefeated week in GNAC play, scoring 3 goals and dishing out 2 assists. McKenna notched a goal and 2 assists in Emmanuel's 6-4 win over Suffolk and then scored 2 goals in the Saints' 4-2 win at Norwich on Saturday. McKenna has been a GNAC 1st Team All-Conference selection for the past two seasons. Her team is currently 3-1-1 in conference play, heading into two tough GNAC opponents this week.
