SAINTS FALL TO #18 WHEATON, 5-4, IN OVERTIME

The Emmanuel Women's Soccer Team took #18 Wheaton into overtime, before falling to the Lyons, 5-4.

AS A FRESHMAN... Posted a breakout freshman campaign, appearing in 20 games and starting all but one while leading the Saints in goals (10), points (24), shots (87), shots on goal (48) while ranking tied for first in game-winning goals (3) and tied for third in assists (4) ... Scored first collegiate goal in just her second collegiate game in the Saints 2-1 win over Husson University in the Husson Classic Tournament ... Notched first career game-winner on September 25 in the Saints 3-2 win over Saint Joseph's (ME), scoring an unassisted marker with just 4:06 remaining in regulation ... Scored in four consecutive games from September 25 through October 6 ... Assisted on both goals in Emmanuel's 2-1 victory over Albertus Magnus College on October 11 ... Registered first collegiate multi-goal outing on October 16, netting both goals in the Saints 2-0 victory over Mount Ida College ... Posted a multi-point effort with a goal and an assist on October 19 in a 7-0 win vs. Pine Manor College ... Recorded second multi-goal outing of the season in the GNAC Quarterfinals vs. #1 seeded Suffolk University to lead the Saints to a 3-1 upset victory ... Named to the GNAC All-Tournament team for her performance during the 2010 playoffs ... Named the GNAC Rookie of the week on two separate occasions during the weeks of October 4-10 and October 18-24 ... Finished the season ranking among the GNAC's top 10 in several offensive categories including fourth in shots (87), sixth in shots per game (4.35) and tied for 10th in points (24) and goals (10).

BEFORE EMMANUEL...Sullivan was a four-year starter at forward for Wahconah Regional High School (Dalton, Mass.)...was a three-time All-Star selection...received the county Sportsmanship Award after her senior year...was the team captain...led her team to the Western/Central Mass Championships and to the State Finals in 2008 and 2009...was a three-sport athlete at Wahconah, also starting on the varsity basketball and softball teams and captaining the teams her senior year.
