Emmanuel College Women's Soccer standouts, Lindsey Garvey (Warwick, R.I.) and Brittany Ridge (Portland, Maine), were named to the 2011 Great Northeast Athletic Conference All-Conference Team.

Emmanuel picked up its 10th win of the season on Saturday, defeating Anna Maria College, 6-1.

Heuslein nets two goals to lead Sharks to GNAC victory
AS A SOPHOMORE ... One of only four sophomores to play in and start all 21 games on the year, ranking tied for fourth on the squad with 14 points ... Was one of the team's top play makers, ranking second among teammates with two game-winning goals, tied for second in assists with four helpers and tied for fourth in goals with five tallies ... Scored the game-winning marker in the Saints 2-1 win in the opening round of the Husson Classic Tournament on September 4 ... Netted the game-winner on October 19 in a 7-0 victory over Pine Manor College in which she collected a career-high five points on two goals and one assist ... Scored an important game-tying goal to help propel the Saints from a come-from-behind, 3-2 win over Saint Joseph's (ME) on September 25 ... Netted a goal in Emmanuel's 3-2 victory over Norwich on October 2 ... The Saints combined to go 4-0-0 in games in which the midfielder scored in ... Finished the year with 44 shot attempts, landing 29 on goal ... Named to the GNAC All-Conference Third team.
AS A FRESHMAN...Ridge started in 20 of her 22 games played...scored 3 goals and dished out 1 assist for 7 total points...took 10 shots on goal and 17 total shots for the Saints...helped Emmanuel make a trip to the GNAC Finals and earn an ECAC Tournament bid.
BEFORE EMMANUEL...Ridge was a four-year starter for the Bulldogs of Portland High School (Portland, Me.)...helped lead her team to the Western Maine Tournament during her sophomore, junior and senior years...was voted a Maine Soccer Coaches' Class A Western Regional All-Star at midfield and Southern Maine Activities Association 1st Team Soccer All-Star at midfield...selected to the Southern Maine Activities Association All-Academic Team...captain her high school team during her senior year.
