Emmanuel College Women's Soccer standouts, Lindsey Garvey (Warwick, R.I.) and Brittany Ridge (Portland, Maine), were named to the 2011 Great Northeast Athletic Conference All-Conference Team.

SAINTS FALL TO #18 WHEATON, 5-4, IN OVERTIME

The Emmanuel Women's Soccer Team took #18 Wheaton into overtime, before falling to the Lyons, 5-4.

AS A FRESHMAN... Enjoyed a productive rookie campaign, playing in all 21 games while landing eight starts in the midfield for the Saints ... Ranked third on the team in goals with six markers while ranking tied for fourth overall in points with 14 ... Made first collegiate start on September 5 against the University of Maine - Fort Kent and scored her first collegiate goal on September 7 vs. Wheaton College ... Registered first career multi-goal game on September 15 vs. Emerson College, netting two first half goals in a nine minute span ... Recorded another multi-point outing on September 29 vs. Fitchburg State, notching a goal while adding her first collegiate assist ... Scored an insurance goal in the Saints 3-1 upset victory over #1 seeded Suffolk University in the GNAC quarterfinals on October 31 ... Attempted 25 shots on the year with acute accuracy, landing 18 shots on goal.

BEFORE EMMANUEL: Four-year player and starter on the varsity soccer team at Warwick Veterans Memorial High School in Warwick, R.I. ... Named to the All-City team as a freshman ... Selected as a First Team All-Division player all four years at WVMHS ... Honored as a Second Team All-State player following junior season ... Lead the team in scoring all four seasons ...
