TROBAUGH'S HAT TRICK LIFTS LIONS OVER SAINTS

Carmen Trobaugh's hat trick paced Emerson College to a 3-1 win over visiting Emmanuel College on Monday afternoon in Women's Soccer action played on Rotch Field.

AS A SOPHOMORE... Played in and started 14 games in net for the Saints, serving as the squad's primary goalkeeper ... Logged a total of 1147 minutes while posting a 1.80 goals against average to rank seventh in the GNAC ... Made a team-high 77 saves which ranked 10th in the conference to go along with a .770 save percentage ... Posted a pair of shutout victories on the season while ranking sixth in the conference averaging 5.50 saves per game ... Helped lead the Saints to a 4-0 win over Fenway rival Simmons College on October 6, making one save in the victory ... Notched second shutout of the year on October 21 vs. Curry College, stopping four shots en route to a 2-0 win ... Registered a season-high 13 saves in the 2010 opener vs. Babson College on September 1 ... Made seven saves on October 31 in the GNAC quarterfinals to help propel Emmanuel past the #1 seed in Suffolk University, 2-1 ... From October 11-23, recorded 266:32 consecutive scoreless minutes in goal, a stretch spanning over five matches.

AS A FRESHMAN...D'Ottavio was Emmanuel's starting goalkeeper in all 22 games played... recorded an overall record of 14 wins, 7 losses and 1 tie, with 7 shut-out victories...finished her rookie season with 121 saves and a .776 save percentage...helped lead Emmanuel to the GNAC Finals and an ECAC Tournament appearance in 2009.

BEFORE EMMANUEL...D'Ottavio was a four-year starter on the varsity soccer team at Pawling High School (Pawling, N.Y.)...named a four-time All-League player...voted All-Section as a junior and a senior...also played varsity basketball for three seasons...was a two-sport captain as a senior.
