WOMEN'S SOCCER FINISHES GNAC REGULAR SEASON WITH 6-1 WIN

Emmanuel picked up its 10th win of the season on Saturday, defeating Anna Maria College, 6-1.

AS A FRESHMAN... Saw action in 18 games off the bench for the Saints, scoring one goal during her rookie campaign ... Made her collegiate debut in the season-opener vs. Babson College on September 1 ... Netted first collegiate goal in heroic fashion on September 9 vs. Wentworth, scoring with just 39 second remaining in regulation off a 35-yard blast to propel the Saints to a 3-2 victory ... Ended the season with three shot attempts, landing two on frame.

BEFORE EMMANUEL....Avila was a 4-year starter as a midfielder/defender for Joseph Case High School Swansea, Mass.)...named a 3-time Honorable Mention All-Star...captained the team as a senior...voted the team's Most Valuable Player after her senior year.
