SHEVLIN NAMED GNAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK - EMMANUEL OFFICIAL ATHLETIC SITE

Emmanuel's Casey Shevlin was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending on December November 28th.

Emmanuel's Casey Shevlin was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending on December November 28th. Shevlin, a junior point guard from Medford, New York, led the Saints to a huge non-conference win over Eastern Connecticut State University on November 24th. Shevlin netted a total of 16 points, while also collecting 3 rebounds and dishing out 2 assists. Her flawless shooting display also included 3 three-pointers, as the Saints came away with a ten point victory on Eastern's home court.

This is Shevlin's first GNAC Player of the Week honor. She is a two-time GNAC Academic All-Conference selection.

The Emmanuel women are currently undefeated at 6-0 on the season. Shevlin is averaging 9.3 points per game and is dishing out close to 4 assists per game. She will be looking to help lead the squad to another GNAC Championship this year.
