LEBEL RECEIVES 2ND-STRAIGHT P.O.W. NOD

Emmanuel junior Kristin LeBel was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the 2nd-straight week this season.

Emmanuel junior Kristin LeBel was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the 2nd-straight week. LeBel's most recent honor came on January 11th, after the Tolland, Connecticut native led the Saints to a 61-53 upset victory over 5th-ranked Bowdoin College. LeBel scored 19 points and hauled in 5 rebounds in the win. She now leads the Saints in scoring with 14.9 points per game, three point field goals (19 this season), and free throw percentage (85.7%).

LeBel, a 1st Team All-GNAC pick last season, has helped the Saints to a current national ranking of 25 in the most recent D3Hoops.com poll. Emmanuel has defeated two top-ten teams (Messiah and Bowdoin) so far this season.
