DAVIS NAMED CONFERENCE PLAYER OF WEEK

Emmanuel's Iman Davis was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference's Player of the Week for the week ending January 3rd. The honor came after the junior captain led the women's basketball team to a 1-1 stint over the winter break in Florida. Davis dropped 23 points in an 84-72 win over Johnson & Wales University-Miami on January 2nd and then poured in 25 points in a loss to Northwood University on January 3rd. In doing so, the Toms River, N.J. native became the 19th player in program history to surpass the 1,000-point milestone. The Saints are currently 5-4 on the season and will face tough non-conference competition this week in NESCAC opponents, Tufts University (1/7) and Bowdoin College (1/10). Emmanuel kicks off GNAC play next week.
