Emmanuel's Kristin LeBel was named the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference's (ECAC) New England Division III Player of the Week, as well as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference's (GNAC) Player of the week. This recognition came after the junior guard was selected the Most Outstanding Player at the California Lutheran Holiday Classic over the winter break. LeBel averaged 23 points per game and led the Saints to wins over North Park and 10th-ranked Messiah College. The Tolland, Connecticut native shot just under 50 percent from the floor for the tournament. She scored a game high 26 points in Emmanuel's win over Messiah.

LeBel was a 1st-Team All-Conference selection as a sophomore and will be looking to lead the Saints to their 4th-straight GNAC Championship this season. Emmanuel is currently 8-1 on the season and ranked 23rd nationally heading into a tough non-conference match-up with 17th-ranked Tufts University on Tuesday, January 5th.
