Emmanuel outside hitter Curtis Abram notched the 1,000th kill of his collegiate career on March 7, 2010 in the Saints' 3-1 win over #5 Carthage College. The San Luis Obispo, California native reached this highly coveted milestone in just his junior season, after slamming down 284 kills as a freshman, 416 as a sophomore, and 319 so far this season. Abram is just the fourth player in Emmanuel program history to reach this milestone.
This year, Abram has helped to lead the Saints to a new program-record for wins in a season, including victories over five teams ranked in the top-ten nationally this season. Abram currently leads the Saints' offense, hitting .336 and averaging 4.09 kills per set. His current kill average also ranks him 10th among all Division III players in the category.
