AS A JUNIOR...O'Connor played in 25 matches as a setter for the Saints...recorded his 1,000th collegiate career assist as a junior...was voted the team's Most Improved Player and received Emmanuel's Academic Achievement Award...was named to both the NECVA All-Academic Team and to the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team...totaled 393 assists, 73 digs, 7 kills, 6 aces and 4 total blocks... helped the Saints to a program-best 27 wins, including making a trip to the GNAC Finals and to the NECVA Tournament.
AS A SOPHOMORE...O'Connor played in 26 matches for Emmanuel...totaled 743 assists, 115 digs, 24 kills, 16 blocks and 8 service aces...received the several academic honors, including receiving the team's Academic Achievement Award, being named to the NECVA All-Academic Team, the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team and a nominee for ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American... helped Emmanuel to a 19-13 overall record and a 9-3 GNAC mark, including a trip to the GNAC Finals and to the NECVA Tournament.
AS A FRESHMAN...O'Connor dished out 221 assists as a rookie...recorded 31 digs, 10 blocks, 7 kills and 4 service aces...helped the Saints to a 14-15 overall record and a trip to the GNAC Finals.
BEFORE EMMANUEL...O'Connor was a three-sport athlete, playing football, basketball and volleyball for Saint John's Prep (Danvers, Mass.)...was a defensive starter on the football team and started for three years as the setter on the volleyball team...earned Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastic Honors as a junior and a senior.
