MEN'S VOLLEYBALL COMES UP SHORT IN GNAC CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

The top-seeded Rivier College Raiders won their fifth-straight Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship, defeating Emmanuel College, 3-0 on Saturday afternoon in Rivier's Muldoon Center.

EMMANUEL MEN'S VOLLEYBALL SEASON PREVIEW

The Saints, who were ranked 12th nationally in the AVCA preseason poll, are coming off the best season in program history and return seven veterans from last year's record-setting team.

BEFORE EMMANUEL...Diehl was a three-year varsity athlete at Pinkerton Academy (Derry, N.H.)...started as a junior and a senior...set the school's all-time career dig record with 656 digs...named an All-Star as a senior, as well as Division I All-State 1st Team...voted an Eagle Tribune All-Star...received his team's Coach's Award...led Pinkerton to the state semifinals.
