EMMANUEL MEN'S VOLLEYBALL SEASON PREVIEW

The Saints, who were ranked 12th nationally in the AVCA preseason poll, are coming off the best season in program history and return seven veterans from last year's record-setting team.

AS A SOPHOMORE...Caron played in 13 matches for the Saints...averaged 1.17 kills per set and hit .323 for the year...recorded 27 total kills, 11 blocks and 11 digs...named GNAC Academic All-Conference...helped the Saints set their second consecutive program-record for wins in a season, as Emmanuel went 28-9 and advanced to the NECVA Tournament for the third-straight year.

AS A FRESHMAN...Caron played in 17 matches for the Saints...totaled 56 kills and hit a team-high .434 for the season...notched 12 blocks, 10 aces and 7 digs in his rookie season... helped the Saints to a program-best 27 wins, including making a trip to the GNAC Finals and to the NECVA Tournament.

BEFORE EMMANUEL...Caron was a two-sport athlete at Scituate High School (North Scituate, R.I.), playing three years of volleyball and four years of basketball...earned 1st Team All-Division honors in both volleyball and basketball.
