Koenemann enjoyed his most productive season with the Saints, notching nine points on four goals and one assist to rank tied for fourth on the squad in goals and fifth in points. The senior captain netted all three of his attempts from the penalty mark while playing in a career-high 19 games on the year. A four-year starter, the midfielder helped Emmanuel capture it's first-ever playoff victory earlier this season when they posted a 3-2 victory over Emerson College on October 30.
Over his career, Koenemann appeared in 60 games to rank tied for the fourth-most in program history. He accumulated 20 total points on nine goals and two assists to rank tied for eighth overall in points and tied for fifth in career goals. The midfielder holds the record for penalty kicks scored, converting five in his career.
Parrelli put together one of the most prolific offensive seasons in the program's history, setting a new single-season record for both points (26) and goals (11). The forward enjoyed a productive three-game stretch from Sept. 20-24 in which he netted five goals and dished out two assists including the game-winning tally in a 1-0 victory over Curry College on Sept. 20 and a hat trick vs. Wheelock College on Sept. 22.
Over his two years with the program, Parrelli has already established himself as one of the most potent scorers in Saints history, tallying 16 goals which ranks third all-time while his 39 career points also places him third on the all-time list.
Samolewicz earns his first All-Conference nod after transferring into Emmanuel from American International College. The defender was one of the main reasons why the Saints were able to post 11 shutouts and a 1.13 goals against average on the year, both single-season program records. The junior appeared in 20 games, starting all of them and scored his first collegiate goal with Emmanuel on September 10 in a 4-3 overtime victory against Johnson & Wales (RI).
The Emmanuel College men's soccer team just concluded its best season in the program's history, posting an overall record of 11-6-4 on the year and a 5-5-0 mark in GNAC play. The Saints recorded 11 shutouts to rank tied for sixth in the country among NCAA Division III institutions and for the first-time ever, advanced to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Semifinals before falling to the eventual 2011 champions in Saint Joseph's (ME).
