AS A FRESHMAN, SOPHOMORE and JUNIOR...Stevens did not participate in collegiate athletics at Emmanuel College.

BEFORE EMMANUEL...Stevens played four years of varsity soccer for Derby High School (Derby, Conn.)...captained the team his senior year and led the squad to the Connecticut State Quarterfinals...also played two years of high school basketball
