MEN'S SOCCER TEAM POSTS 3-0 SHUTOUT IN REGULAR SEASON FINALE

Sophomore Allan Parrelli (Reading, Mass.) had two goals to lift the Emmanuel College Men's Soccer Team to a 3-0 victory over Anna Maria College on Saturday.

SAINTS SILENCE PRIDE, 2-0

The Emmanuel College Men's Soccer Team tied the College's program-record for wins in a season on Saturday afternoon, downing Regis College, 2-0.

AS A FRESHMAN... Enjoyed a productive rookie campaign playing in 16 contests while earning five starts ... Finished the year ranked second on the squad with 13 points on five goals and three assists ... Made collegiate debut on September 1 vs. Curry College ... Notched first collegiate point in just his second career game, dishing out an assist on September 4 vs. Newbury ... Tallied first collegiate goal on September 8, scoring the game-winner in the Saints 2-1 victory over Elms College ... Scored in back-to-back games on September 13 vs. MIT as well as vs. Lesley University on September 15 ... Registered a four-game points streak from September 13-22 ... Finished the year with 40 shots to rank second on the squad ... Named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll for his player during the week of September 13-19.

BEFORE EMMANUEL: Played soccer at Reading Memorial High School in Reading, Mass. ... Selected as an All-New England player during senior season while also earning All-State honors ... Tabbed an Eastern-Mass All-Star while also being named to the Boston Globe and Herald All-Scholastic squads ... Named the MVP of the Middlesex League, leading the conference in points (45) and goals (20) during his final campaign at RMHS.
