EMMANUEL UPSETS EMERSON FOR FIRST-EVER MEN'S SOCCER TOURNAMENT WIN

The Emmanuel College Men's Soccer Team earned the program's first-ever Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament win on Sunday afternoon, when the sixth-seeded Saints upset third-seeded Emerson College, 3-2.

AS A JUNIOR... Named a tri-captain ... Saw action in 13 contests, getting the starting nod on nine occasions ... Notched two points on the year, scoring one goal ... Netted the game-winning tally on September 11 vs. Suffolk University, converting a penalty kick strike with just 5:25 remaining in regulation ... Attempted 17 shots on the year, landing six on net ... Named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference team.

AS A SOPHOMORE... Saw action in 12 games, starting 10 contests for the Saints ... Ended the year with five points on a pair of goals to go along with one assist ... Scored his first goal of the season on September 21 vs. MIT ... Enjoyed a productive match vs. Wheelock College on October 3 when he recorded a goal and an assist in the Saints 9-1 victory ... Finished the campaign with 13 shot attempts, landing eight on net ... Named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference team.

AS A FRESHMAN... Played in 16 of 17 matches, starting 14 contests for the Saints ... Finished the season with four points on two goals ...
