Mark De Santis joined the Emmanuel College coaching staff in the summer of 2010 as an Assistant Coach for the Saints Men's Soccer Team. De Santis played his collegiate soccer at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, where he majored in Communication and received his undergraduate degree in the spring of 2010.

De Santis was a regular on the field for the Minutemen, captaining the team in 2009. De Santis led UMass-Amherst to two Atlantic 10 Conference Championships and to an NCAA Final Four appearance. During his junior season, he was named 1st Team All-Atlantic 10, recording 10 points and scoring four goals. In his sophomore campaign, De Santis was the second leading scorer for the Minutemen with 14 points, leading team with six assists during that season.

Before attending the University of Massachusetts Amherst, De Santis played soccer at Stoneham High School, where he led the Spartans to two Massachusetts state titles in 2003 and 2005. When De Santis graduated from Stoneham High School, he was the all-time leading scorer with 130 points, 83 goals and 47 assists. A two time Eastern Mass All Star, De Santis was also named Boston Globe Player of the Year in 2006.

De Santis is a Massachusetts native and currently resides in Stoneham, Mass.
