The Saints got off to a great start with a 4-0 shut-out of Newbury College in the opening game of the season. The shut-out then led to a tough eight-game slide, which found the Saints at 1-8 heading into October.

The Emmanuel College Men's Soccer Team dropped a 3-2 decision to cross-town rival Suffolk University in a chilly Tuesday night match played at Clemente Field. As the regular season conference matches wind down, Saints' victories are necessary to keep Emmanuel's hopes for a post-season bid alive. Tuesday night's match featured the 8th and 9th place GNAC teams squaring off and both teams looking for just their second conference win of the season. The Rams came out on top, scoring the opening three goals of the contest. Despite a late second half run by the Saints, Suffolk was able to hold on for the 3-2 win.

The Saints topped the Wildcats, 9-1, on a rain-soaked afternoon at Clemente Field in Boston. For Wheelock, William Hall (Hingham, Mass.) provided a spark of offense with his first goal of the season, but it wasn't enough to stop a potent Emmanuel offense as the Wildcats dropped their seventh-straight game.
