Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach

R. Evan Davis joined the Emmanuel coaching staff in 2010, as an Assistant Coach for the Saints Men's Lacrosse Team. Davis currently serves as the Associate Executive Athletic Director for the Boston Scholar Athlete Program, a division of Suffolk Construction's charitable arm, the Red and Blue Foundation. The BSA works with Boston Public Schools to bolster the athletic and academic programs in the 18 Boston Public High Schools' sports programs.

Davis spent seven years as head coach of the Clark University (Worcester, Mass.) men's lacrosse program. In the summer of 2005, Davis was selected by U.S. Lacrosse to be a team coach at the 2006 World Lacrosse Team Tryouts. Davis also coached the Massachusetts Central Bay States Lacrosse Team and served as the New England representative to the STX USILA All-America Committee. Davis brings to Emmanuel a wealth of lacrosse knowledge, which includes serving on the World Lacrosse Team selection-coaching staff, as assistant coach and defensive coordinator at Marymount University, Va., playing for the powerhouse high school Trinity-Pawling School in Pawling, NY and starting the lacrosse club team at Gettysburg College. He went on to play for the post-collegiate level Team AOL in the American Lacrosse League.

Davis earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Gettysburg College in 1996 and his masters in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix in 2006. Davis currently resides in Framingham, Massachusetts with his wife Kristina, his daughter Emma, and their dog Karma.
