October 8, 2012 | Men's Golf MEN'S GOLF BREAKS SINGLE-DAY LOW DURING DAY TWO OF USM CLASSIC The Emmanuel College men’s golf team continued its best season in program history, firing a single day low of 314 during day 2 of the University of Southern Maine Fall Classic. The Saints enjoyed a solid two days, posting a 322 on day one to break the previous single day low of 325 in which they’d shot three times on the year before following it up with the 314 on day two of the tourney. Elms College placed first overall in the event with a team total of 307 while Suffolk University came in third, five strokes behind the Saints with a team total of 330. The Saints tied their all-time program low score to take 3rd place out of 15 teams at the Westover Golf Course in Granby, Mass.
