Freshman guard helps lift Saints to 70-63 win over Mount Ida

BOSTON, Mass. - Emmanuel College men's basketball freshman, D.J. Fazio was recently named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll for Dec. 6, thanks to his excellent play last week in the Saints' 70-63 win over conference foe, Mount Ida.

The freshman from Methuen,Mass. led the team with seven assists while finishing second in scoring with 14 points. He also added one of the team's three-pointers while going 5-7 from the line. He spent the second most amount of time on the floor for the team with a total of 28 minutes played.

Fazio also added six points and led the team with six rebounds in the 79-52 loss to Amherst on Tuesday evening.

The Saints will retake the court this Saturday when they travel to Albertus Magnus to square off at 1:00 p.m.
