SPELLMAN HITS 1,000 POINTS

Emmanuel's junior forward Mack Spellman (Clinton, NY) reached the highly coveted 1,000-point plateau in a 78-71 victory at home over St. Joseph's College (ME) on Monday afternoon (1/21/08).

Emmanuel's junior forward Mack Spellman (Clinton, NY) reached the highly coveted 1,000-point plateau in a 78-71 victory at home over St. Joseph's College (ME) on Monday afternoon (1/21/08). He entered the game 13 points shy of 1,000 points in his three-year career. Spellman hit 6 of 10 first-half field goals and reached 1,000 points with 2:15 remaining in the opening half of play. He ended the game with a game-high 21 points and 15 rebounds. Spellman became the fifth player in program history to reach this milestone, as well as the third player to do so this year.
