The Suffolk University Men's Basketball Team put on an incredible shooting display en route to a crucial 71-54 victory over Emmanuel College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action played in the Jean Yawkey Center on Saturday afternoon. The two teams are in the hunt for one of the final spots in the upcoming GNAC play-offs. The cross-town match-up between these two local programs featured a battle of inexperience, as Suffolk started two sophomores and three freshmen and Emmanuel started three sophomores and two rookies. The win boosted the Rams' record to 6-15 overall and 2-12 in the GNAC, while Emmanuel fell to 4-17 on the season and 3-11 in the league. read more

FALCONS WIN 9TH-STRAIGHT TOPPING SAINTS, 75-62

Albertus Magnus College won its 9th-straight game on Thursday night, topping Emmanuel College, 75-62, in Great Northeast Athletic Conference Men's Basketball action. The win for the Falcons boosted them to 16-4 on the season and 12-1 in the GNAC. Albertus Magnus sits in first place in the conference standings. The Saints fell to 4-16 overall and 3-10 in the league heading into the final three weeks of the season. read more

Saint Joseph's College overcame a 16-point halftime deficit to top Emmanuel, 62-60, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) battle played in the Jean Yawkey Center on Monday night. After trailing, 38-22, at the break, the Monks outscored the Saints, 40-22, in the second half to come away with the two-point win. The Monks went 5 for 5 from the line down the stretch en route to the win. The victory for Saint Joe's boosted the Monks to 14-5 on the season and 9-3 in the GNAC, while Emmanuel dropped to 4-15 overall and 3-9 in league play. read more
