EMMANUEL HOSTS 7TH ANNUAL SAINTS CROSS COUNTRY INVITATIONAL

The Emmanuel women finished fourth and the men placed fifth in the 7th Annual Saints Cross Country Invitational on Friday night.

AS A JUNIOR...Ibrahim transferred in to Emmanuel from Roxbury Community College...competed in three sports during his junior season, including Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field...opened up the Cross Country season by winning Emmanuel's dual-meet at the Fens with a time of 16:21.20 in the 5k race...went on to take first place at Massachusetts Maritime's Travis Fuller Invitational with a course record time of 25:35...was subsequently selected the GNAC Runner of the Week for both weeks (9/6/10 and 9/13/10)...finished 4th individually at the GNAC Championship Meet at Saint Joseph's College (ME) with a time of 28:01, leading the Saints to a 2nd place team finish...named GNAC All-Conference...selected the GNAC Rookie of the Year...named to the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
