AS A JUNIOR...Cowles competed in his third year as a three-sport athlete for the Saints...received the Coaches' Appreciation Award for Cross Country as a junior...named the team captain for the 2011 season...represented the Men's Cross Country Team on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee... helped lead the 2010 squad to a 2nd place finish in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship.

AS A SOPHOMORE...Cowles a top-five finisher for the Saints throughout the season...ran two personal bests during the year, including an 18:46 5k at the Fens and a 28:51 5-miler at Franklin Park...was named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll on 10/19/09...ran 2nd for the Saints with a time of 29:14 at the GNAC Championship Meet, helping the Saints to a 4th place team...was selected the Saints' Most Improved Performer for 2009...also competed in Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field for the Saints.

AS A FRESHMAN...Cowles was a top-three finisher for the Saints throughout his rookie season...ran his personal best of 29:16 at the Saints Invitational at Franklin Park... was named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll on 9/22/08...finished 2nd for Emmanuel in the GNAC Championship at Saint Joseph's College (ME), helping Emmanuel to a 5th place team finish...also competed in Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field for the Saints.

BEFORE EMMANUEL... Cowles was a three-sport athlete for RHAM High School (Hebron, Conn.)...competed in three seasons of indoor track & field, two seasons of outdoor track & field and two seasons of baseball.
