STANDISH, Me. - BOTH, the Emmanuel Men's AND Women's Cross Country Teams, won Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships on Saturday afternoon on the campus of Saint Joseph's College in Maine. October 18, 2013 | Cross Country WOMEN TAKE 3RD, MEN SNAG 4TH IN SAINTS CROSS COUNTRY INVITATIONAL DORCHESTER, Mass. – Emmanuel College hosted the 8th running of the Saints Invitational on the historic cross country course at Franklin Park on Friday evening. Over 320 runners represented 18 colleges and universities, with 15 women’s teams competing in the 5k and 16 men’s teams in the 8k event. Wheaton College took team honors on the women’s side, placing four runners in the top five and scoring 25 total points. September 21, 2013 | Cross Country SAINTS RUN 3RD AT POP CROWELL INVITATIONAL WENHAM, Mass. – The Emmanuel Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Teams raced to third place team finishes on Saturday in Gordon College’s 42nd Annual Pop Crowell Invitational. With twenty competing teams in both the men’s and women’s races, the Saints’ 3rd place finishes landed Emmanuel behind just Georgia College and the University of New England, but ahead all other GNAC programs, including defending 2012 men’s champion Norwich University. The women ran a 2-mile course and the men ran a 5k through Boston's historic Backbay Fens area, finishing with a lap of the track circling Roberto Clemente Field. May 9, 2013 | Cross Country 2012 CROSS COUNTRY SEASON IN REVIEW The Emmanuel College Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Teams celebrated yet another successful season in 2012. The Emmanuel men’s squad raced to a second place team finish at the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship, while the women’s team took fourth place as a team. After his 12th season at the helm, Head Coach Tony DaRocha was once again named the GNAC Cross Country Coach of the Year, an honor he has now received five times while coaching the Saints. Student-athletes, coaches, supportive families and fans filled the gymnasium of Emmanuel's Jean Yawkey Center on Saturday evening, April 27th, for the annual athletic recognition night. The event featured award presentations by the head coaches of each of Emmanuel's varsity programs and spirit teams, as well as major award presentations by Saints staff and administrators. November 11, 2012 | Cross Country SAINTS FINISH STRONG AT NCAA CROSS COUNTRY REGIONAL WESTFIELD, Mass. – Emmanuel College sent seven men and seven women to compete in the 2012 Division III New England Cross Country Regional on Saturday afternoon. The NCAA Regional Championship, which included powerhouse programs from across New England, was hosted by Westfield State University and held at Stanley Park on November 10th.
