COULOMBE SETS PROGAM RECORD AT MIT PENTATHLON

Emmanuel sophomore Jordan Coulombe (Saco, Maine) was among just 17 male and female athletes who competed in MIT's Pentathlon, the morning before the program's Annual Alumni Meet. Representing the Saints on Saturday morning, Coulombe placed 7th overall with a combined score of 2,651 points. This was his first pentathlon competition since high school and his score set a new Emmanuel program record.
Coulombe's results for each event were as follows:
55m Hurdles = 9.06
Long Jump = 17' 6"
Shot Put = 28' 4.25"
High Jump = 5' 9.25"
1000m = 3:04.77
Coulombe and the rest of the Saints indoor track & field team will return to action next Saturday (1/16) at Brandeis University's Reggie Poyau Invitational.
