Dance Team

The dance team performs at all home basketball games and participates in various competitions. The dancers are part of the heart and soul of the athletic community as they foster the college's pride and encourage fans.



The Emmanuel Saints Dance Team took 2nd place in the College Dance Division at the New England Cheer and Dance Competition, held at the Reggie Lewis Track and Field Center on Saturday, November 14th, 2009. On, Sunday, October 4th, 2009, the Emmanuel College Dance Team volunteered at the Boston Walk to Find A Cure For Breast Cancer. The Saints Dance Team also raised $150.00, which was donated to the American Cancer Society, and performed at the Hatch Shell to entertain and support the walkers. The Saints Dance Team would like to thank Emmanuel College for all of the support in generous donations.

During the 2008-09 academic year, the Emmanuel College Dance Team gave back to the community by volunteering at both the Walk for Juvenile Diabetes and at the Walk to Find a Cure for Breast Cancer in held Boston. The team also performed in several competitions. Emmanuel's team results are as follows:

November 15, 2008 - The New England Cheer and Dance Competition (Boston, Mass.)
- 2nd place finish in the "college dance category"

January 25, 2009 - The Emmanuel Dance Competition (Boston, Mass.)
- 1st place finish in the "college dance hip hop division" and grand champions in the "overall college dance division"
