LATE SECOND HALF GOAL PUSHES CURRY PAST EMMANUEL IN MEN'S SOCCER OPENER

Curry College defeated Emmanuel College 2-1 on Wednesday night in the men's soccer season opener for both schools. The Saints struck first and held the lead for the opening fifty minutes of play, before the Colonels tied things up and then put in the game-winner late in the second half. more

BEAVERS NIP SAINTS IN WOMEN'S SOCCER SEASON OPENER
Babson College freshman Meghan Andrew (Easton, Mass.) scored her first collegiate goal in the 77th minute to lift the Beavers women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over visiting Emmanuel College in the season opener for both teams at Hartwell-Rogers Field on Wednesday afternoon. more

Emmanuel College Assistant Athletic Director and Head Athletic Trainer Ron Laham was recently named the 2010 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Athletic Trainer of the Year.

The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) recently announced the selection of its inaugural Hall of Fame class. Longtime women's basketball head coach Andy Yosinoff and his 2000-2001 Saints team that reached the NCAA Division III Final Four were the top two honorees for induction.

With the 2009-2010 academic year and athletic seasons complete, the Emmanuel College Athletic Department is proud to announce that the Saints have placed their largest number of student-athletes on the Great Northeast Athletic Conference's Academic All-Conference list.

The Emmanuel Athletic Department hosted its annual Awards Night and Dessert Reception on Saturday night, April 24th, in the Marian Hall Dining Hall on the campus of Emmanuel College. Team members from each of Emmanuel's fifteen athletic teams, as well as the Dance and Cheerleading Teams were recognized.

After being selected the 2010 Men's Volleyball Coach of the Year for both the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) and the North East Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA), Emmanuel Head Coach Chris Wright received NECVA's 2010 David Hildebrandt Rising Star Award.
